I am the granddaughter of William Glenn Elsberry, who was from Paulding Co. but moved to Chattooga County. He was married to Annie Bell Kellett. They had 10 children, which were named after William, Roscoe and Henry. These men were their uncles or great uncles I believe. My father was James Henry Elsberry born 03/04/1932. All of them were born in Chattooga County, where the ones still alive remain. I have been told that my great or gg grandmother's name was Ruth Cherry Elsberry but can not find where she comes in. Her father was supposedly an irish man whose name I do not know. My father and his nine brothers and sisters who are all very dark skinned and have black hair. We do not know if they are Indian, some say yes, some say no. I would like to find this out. Any info on a Ruth Cherry would be appreciated.
