Hi Connie, I understand that you have a picture of the old homestead in Georgia. Is there any chance I could get a copy of it? My grandmother Emma Vera Elsberry told me stories of visiting there. I wished I had listened to her more carefully, but as a kid I thought she was just old and rambling off. MY BAD. We also descend through Lindsey Elsberry by Benjamin Franklin Elsberry. His son Albert Sidney Johnston Elsberry was my great-greatgrandfather. I have a picture of him and his family and one of him by an old car. As far as Lindseys' parents are concerned I was told by my great Uncle Harry that his mother was Nancy Elsberry Married to a Mr. Lindsey. I have no documentation of this as of yet. Still working on it. Uncle Harry had an old family Bible that I believed belong to Sara Jane Tate Elsberry wife of Albert Sidney. If I come up with anything I will pass it on to you. I almost forgot, I have a picture of an Mr. A. D. Elsberry that is very old. It has writing on back in pencil, but it has faded that I can't make it out.
