Ephraim Elsberry first appears in the Freetown MA land records in 1725, when his father-in-law, Matthew Boomer, gives Ephraim and wife Mary (Boomer) a piece of land. Ephraim died in 1762 in Freetown. Bristol County MA probate & land records don't give any clue of his origins. Appears to have dropped off a space ship. There was an Ephraim Elsbury, son of Christopher, baptised in England in 1699 (IGI record). Have no idea if there's any connection. Appreciate any help.
