My gg grandmother was Margaret Elsberry b. April 1840 in Perry co. AR. She died January 1892 at Houston, AR Perry Co. She married Radford Sherman Bland b. 30 Dec 1832 at Conway Co., AR, d. 20 Oct 1900 Houston, AR Perry Co. They are both buried at the Leach-Bland Family Cemetery in Perry Co., AR. Margaret's father was Michael Elsberry b. Circa 1800 in GA, d. 1845 and he was married to Fatima Cole in 1819. Michael's father was Joseph Elsberry b. 1765 at Maryland, Bohemia Manor, Cecil Co. He died in 1820 in Wilkinson Co., MS. He married Nancy Ann Smith on 9 Feb 1797 in Olgethorpe Co.,GA.
Joseph's father was Benjamin Walbach Elsberry b. 1720 in Bohemia Manor, Cecil co., MD He married Francena Luckey b. 1724 in Bohemia Manor, Cecil Co., MD. Benjamin Walbach Elsberry's father was Christopher Walbach b. 1689 in Germany, d. Bohemia Manor, Cecil Co., MD. Christopher's wife was Lydia Elsberry b. 1693 in England, d. in Maryland. Is anyone familiar with this line?
I am very confused, and I am not positive if my information is correct. I need someone to verify it for me. Is there someone who is in charge of an Elsberry homepage that I can submit my information? Also does anyone know if Joseph Elsberry served in the American Revolutionary War?
