Greetings from Australia. A William Elsbury(age 26) arrived in Victoria, Australia aboard the ship "White Star" in Sept.,1857.
Mary Elsbury (age 26),Elisabeth A Elsbury (age 5) and Thomas Elsbury (age 3) arrived in Victoria aboard the ship "Africa" in Aug.,1858. Both ships had sailed from British ports.
Another record shows Edward Elsbury arrived aboard the ship "Joseph Somes" at Geelong, Victoria, Australia on the 24th Sept.,1847. Edward was a convict/exile and had spent almost 2 years in either Pentonville, Millbank, or Parkhurst penitentiaries. I'm still chasing if these are my forbears. Will send more as it comes to hand.
