Hi James-
I don't think my Frederick Alberty/Alburthy/Alberry/Alberti, etc. had anything to do with the Maryland Alberrys. He was pretty solidly in North Carolina the entire time he was in the States. He may have had family in New York. According to the Bethania Diaries, he spent nearly a month with the Moravians whose land bordered his, and he told them he was on his way to New York to return to Europe for a time, then he was coming back to America for good. Unless he had family in New York, there's no reason for him not to have departed for Europe through one of the several ports in the Carolinas that were closer to him. There is a Casimir Alburty in New York at that time. I did look at what I have of Frederick's many children and didn't find a Benjamin, but that doesn't mean he didn't exist. I wish you luck; if I can help, please let me know.
