1. Michael Elsberry, b. 1751 Cecil Co., MD, d. 10 Sep 1787 in Wilkes or Walton Co., GA. Some sources show Wilkes, one early researcher show that he was killed in the battle of Jack's Creek and was buried at the battlefield. Michael Elsberry md. Ann Greenleaf. She died after 1800.
2. Benjamin Elsberry, son of Michael and Ann Elsberry,was born 1777 NC, d. 1853 GA near Athens, GA, md. 24 Feb 1800 in Oglethorpe Co. to Margaret Luckie, dau of John Luckie Margaret, b. 1776, d. 1870 at home of dau., Mrs. Wiley Scoggins.
3. Joseph Elsberry, son of Benjamin and Margaret Elsberry, was born 16 Oct 1817 at Milledgeville, GA, d. Okolona, AK 20 Sep 1873, md. Caroline Victoria Pentecost 08 Oct 1839 Jackson Co., GA. Caroline, dau of Richard Wood Pentecost and Sarah Boring Perkins Pentecost, b. 17 Oct 1820 Jackson Co., GA, d. Brown Co., TX 10 Jul 1897.
4. Mary Narcissus Elsberry, dau of Joseph and Carolina Elsberry, b. 17 Jun 1851 Milledgeville, GA, d. Eldorado, TX 18 Jul 1928, md. on 21 Sep 1875 to James William Alexander, b. 02 Jan 1852 Hot Springs Co., AK, d. Eldorado, TX on 06 Oct 1915.
5. Emma Alexander, dau of Mary N. and James William Alexander, gave much of this information on her DAR Lineage form. Emma married a Mr. Campbell.
