Hi! The Elsasser family that I have the info on did come from Alsace-Lorain in the early 1800's. I have not tried yet to trace into the Elsasser family in Germany. The Elsassers that I have are basically from Hardin County, Ohio (Kenton), but there could some in Auglaize County which is "next door" to Hardin.
