Hello Sonia,

I have already sent a message to your e-mail address in response to an e-mail that you sent me. According to the second edition of a book (1942) by B. Perez Marchant, there is the following information: "Federico Ramon Rivas... diputado a varias Asambleas y alcalde de Cojutepeque. En la Constituyente de 1938-1939 figuro en su caracter de Diputado Suplente por el departamento de Cuscatlan".

I recently saw this in a library and the book is titled "Diccionario Biografico de El Salvador." There is also a book by a Mr. Lainez titled "Cojutepeque.." and the third volume of this book is about "cojutepecanos distinguidos." There are copies of these volumes at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. You should also look in the volumes by Miguel Angel Garcia which I consider to be the best in Salvadoran history in that they cover many individuals and topics.
