When I sent you my first message it was not only directed to you, but to anyone that inquires about other individuals. Of course there seems to be no harm in asking about deceased individuals. If the person you are looking for did in fact return to El Salvador, you will surely get better results if you mention what city or town he may be residing in. Perhaps you can find some books on El Salvador and find the names of individuals in them with the same surname of the person you are looking for. Perhaps those persons are related to him. Perhaps also you can write to a "Dear Abby" type of colunm to mention what happened and wait for what the response/advice will be.
