I hope you dont mind me posting this to a genealogy board. I post frequently on other forums and figured the best people to ask this would be genealogist. Especially after I have searched the internet for 3 hours. My daughter is doing a report at school on El Salvador. I was wondering if anyone would share some El Salvadoran recipes with me so that we could make one and bring it into her classroom as part of her project. I have found one for Pupusas, which seems to be quite popular but it seems like it might be difficult to make. Has anyone tried making those? I have found 2 others called Quesadilla Salvadaorena and Maria Luisa. Are these deserts? I thought it would be nice to bring in a desert but maybe it would look "too american"? I was hoping to find something easy to prepare that would really get the class into the theme of El Salvador. My daughter is 11 yrs old and in 6th grade. Thank you so much for your support in this project. If you would like to email me the recipes instead of post them on the board my email address is khawk@voyager.net
thanks
Kim
