Julio Padilla,
My daughter, who was adopted from El Salvador, was born in San Miguel in the village of Loltique. She was born on Aug. 29, 1980. We were told that she was given up for adoption in the hospital. She was then kept in the Santa Vahinni orphanage(sorry for the spelling. I think Saint Virgina is the translation) in San Salvador until she came to us.The adoption papers stated that her mother was a student but some of the information may not be correct. Her birth certificate had her name as Ana Martinez. Does any of this information ring a bell, anything at all? I really apreciate your responding to my posted message. I have hired an agent to help locate her biological family but in the three years that they have been looking, they have found nothing!
I hope none of your family in El Salvador has been effected by the current earthquakes.I know of several families in the San Salvador area and they are very frighten. They say there are mild shaking and rumbling of the earth everyday and they are afraid another big one will come. I hope it doesn't happen.
Thanks again Julio.
