Thanks to you I'm now able to make charts for my two daughters' ancestors. I'm trying to get a copy of "The History of Mecklenburg Co 1740-1900" but it is currently out of print. It can be ordered from the Heritage Books when more copies are available. It states that burials from the "Mercy Hosp" site were also moved in the 1950's, some to First Presby Church downtown. It gives the names and I remember some were Barnets. I made a list of them. I wonder how Charity Spratt descends? I know Thomas Spratt and Mary Clarke had 7 girls and one boy, Thomas Spratt. Also that the son Thomas Spratt had sons James and Thomas and James was the only one who outlived his father. But I don't know which one Charity would have descended from. But, I never give up. You've been a great help!!!
