The Eliza Elms I 'm referring is indeed 18 years old in 1860. The Thomas that she was living with seems to have had a sister Elizabeth born about 1817 and they are children of Samuel Elms and Mary Peel. The Samuel Elms had a brother named Thomas that was married to Rosanna Hadden. I need to check again to see if that Thomas had a daughter Elizabeth or not.
The Thomas that Eliza was living with was married twice first to Sarah Ann Nelson and had Samuel and Joab Elms. I at first thought Eliza may have been Thomas daughter by this marriage but his probate records didn't mention him having a daughter Eliza.
Thomas married second to Mahulda Watson and had John, James, David Centhiana and another that I can't name at the moment. I'll check and get back with you.
