My grandfather, James Cornelius Elms III was mad about geneology. He told me that Rodolphus came as an indentured servant at the age of 15. I have information on his parents in England. I am descended through Ebenezer who alledgedly died at Valley Forge. I also managed to link up through the female lines to the Mayflower (my grandfather only wrote down the male line so he missed out on that pleasure.) There is a plaque dedicated to Rodolphus at Grace Church in Falmouth MA. I haven't looked at the stuff I have for a while (my last two children are adopted, so that generally puts one a bit off geneology!) but I could dig it out if any one is interested. I have photos of all the James Elms' (four of them) and David, the father of the first James. (7 generations born in Boston, MA)
