Patrick, we are also just getting started on this side of my husband's family. His Mother married a Christman Pittman from Batesville, MS. She was born in Crowder, MS which is outside of Batesville, MS. She passed away from problems that stemed from brain surgery. She was in a semicoma for about 19 months and was not able to tell us much. Her Mother was the daughter of S.E. & Eliza Lutter "Lucy Lou" Elmore. That is far as we have been able to go back. There were a lot on Elmores around the Oxford, MS area but we have not been able to connect them to our line as of yet.We have alot of imformation on the Elmores. If you will send us some of the names then we will see if we have any information on them.
