I too am a descendant of Edward Elmer(which is how our family spells the name), his father was also Edward so that would make him Edward Elmer II. We got most of our information from a book by Rev. William W. Johnson's book; The descendants of Edward Elmer, published in North Greenfield, WI in 1899. Do you know if the book Elmer Family of Windsor, CT is the same book, simply retitled? or is this a different book? If it is a different book do you know where it can be found?
I have been trying to find out additional information about Edward III's descendant's spousal information. I only know that Edward Elmer III's wife name was Elizabeth. The other spouses of my Elmer ancestors I have their names, but no information who their parents were. Is anybody else out there descended through Edward III's son Caleb?
