Thank you for your prompt reply. I'm somewhat familar with John Elmore (1753) who moved from VA. to Orange Co. NC. I just didn't think that it could be the same John Elmore (1810) counted in the 1810 Botetourt Co.VA. census. Although his age would be right, he would have to travel back to NC. to post the security bond for James/Milley 8/20/1810. I have a large file of imfo on James and Milley their descendants and other Elmores of Craig,Botetourt, and Giles Co. VA. This info was given to my father several years ago and researched the old fashion way of going through court records and family interviews. The family info was compiled by Mrs. Charlene Elmore Blassingham perhaps a close relative of yours. Do you have this information? Best wishes and thank you for your help. David Elmore
