Shaply Elmore was the son of Matthew (Matrom) Elmore. I show a birthdate of 1782. Siblings were John (1777), Bess, Alsey,and Rhoda. I am a descendant of John. I don't have a great deal of information regarding Shaply, but can send you what I have on Matrom if you contact me directly.
