I am trying to find out anything on my Great Grandparents! My Great Grandfather was John Elmore and he married Annie Talley. I know John's mother was Cherokee. I was reading these letters and this is so close to what I am looking for. I know it could be just a close coincidence!! But, John Elmore never talked about his family. We know there is a bible out there some where with the information we need. But, we don't know where! John Elmore lived in the Henry County area of Alabama before moving to Dale County. If anyone has any information that could help me. I would appreciate it so much!
