I am looking for the parentage of George Elmore born 1798 in North Carolina. He married Sarah (maiden name unknown, born in 1806 in N.C.). They had the following children: GEORGE WASHINGTON ELMORE, born Nov. 11, 1829, married Mary C. Brown on Feb. 26, 1851 in White County, Tennessee. JOHN A. ELMORE born in 1833, ARONETTA ELMORE, born 1835, MALVINA ELMORE, born 1838 and MARGARET ELMORE born 1841.

If anyone has this ELMORE line traced back any farther, I would be so thrilled to be able to correspond with you and would be willing to pay for the information. I have a nearly complete line traced to the present day of GEORGE WASHINGTON ELMORE that I would be more than happy to share with anyone interested.
