I seek info on Polly Elmore who md. in Lincoln Co., NC. on Nov.12, 1825 to Horatio Noyes.This is the only Noyes marriage listed in NC.marriage records. Polly's (?Mary) sister Anne md Andrew Carpenter April 26, 1825.both couples went to IN. before 1840.and th Carpeters were in Polk CO., IA in 1856,but not in 1860. the Noyes stayed in IN., in Vigo Co. or near Vigo CO.,to the N.E.THe carpenters had a son or grandson named SETH Carpenter. I decend from the son of Polly, William Wiley Noyes b. 1835 NC., d.1816 in IOWA.
