I am looking for any information about my ggandmother Bridget Ann Kenney, who married my ggrandfather Joshua Esau Rownd ca. 1889, in SD, probably Aurora Co. I know nothing about her parentage other than she was an Irish Catholic. This was probably the second marriage for Bridget. She purchased land in Aurora Co in Mar 1889 under her maiden name; I assume she was a widow at that time. I found two Cook Co (Chicago), IL marriage records for a Bridget Kenney in 1879. One was for a 21 year old Bridget m. Daniel McManus, age 27, both from Stockyards. The other was a 28 year old Bridget m. John ELMORE, age 29. There is also a Kenney family in 1860 IL census with an age 37 mother named Bridget and 2 year baby Ann. A very interesting census record--this Bridget was "insane." If anyone knows anything about any of these Bridget Kenneys, I like to here from you. Thanks.
