Thomas LaFayette Elmore was born March 16, 1837 in North Carolina and died May 06, 1909 in Coon Creek Lincoln Co. Mo.

He was married to Mary E. Roper March 06, 1859. They had 10 children: Danial W. Elmore, Mrs. George Barley, Jeff Elmore, Ida Elmore, Mrs. Frank C.Dickman, Mrs. W.O. Barley, Alice Elmore, William Albert Elmore, Thomas L. Elmore, Pringle Elmore.

His father was James A. Elmore.

Thomas LaFayette Elmore might have had a brother named Hezekiah K. Elmore. Need help on Mary E. Roper and Thomas's parents.
