Seems like you have more information on the Elmores than any one yet. Maybe you can answer one for me. I have been researching the Hamby,Walsh,Proffitt families for years. I am just beginning to look into the maternal sides of the above families, I have been searching for the Elmores thru Elizabeth born 1760 in VA. She married William Proffitt 1-10-1783. They lived their lives in Wilkes county NC. Also for a friend any info on a female Alcy Elmore? We are trying to tie her into the Hamby Family. Thanks Melody
