I am searching for the birthplace and parents of George W. Elmore, born Feb 1, 1818, allegedly in Butler Co., Tennesse. But I find no evidence there ever was a Butler Co., TN.
He married Delitha Emaline Stepp somewhere some time before 1850. They moved to houston, MO., in 1850
