John William Elmore, Sr. was born in Newberry, SC. in 1800. He Marrid Martha Ann Sims in Green Co., SC in 1826.
They had a son, John William Elmore, Jr. He was killed in the Civil War at Corinth, MS on 10/04/1862. He was married to Drucilla Jane Messer. He never saw his son, William James Elmore as he died before William was born.
William was married to Mary Callie Givens in,1889. They had seven Children, my Dad was one of them. He was Charles Wesley Elmore who was married to Claudie Valentine
Sasser. They had a Son, Charles Edwin Elmore, B 01/09/1936-D 03/30/2005 and Mylelf, Dorothy Elmore Hall.
