I have been researching this line for a long time.But I have never heard of a son named Thomas. I have that John Elmore was b. ca 1705 in Richmond VA. He m. 29 Nov. 1728 to Ann Raynolds. Some say she was his 2nd wife. John d. 3 Oct., 1757 in Richmond. Ann d. 1771-1772 in Bute Co. NC. They had the following children: Travis, b. ca 1743, d. 1816 Robertson Co. TN; George; John; Charles; Rachel; Betty. I would be interested to know where you found a son named Thomas. Let me know if I can be of further help. Terri
