I am trying to find information on the grandson of Jacob Elmore and Mary Mckinsey. His name was Henry C. Elmore (his father was Mathias Elmore, born 1809 in Ohio; his mother was Kezia Jane English, born in 1815). Henry C. was married to Eleanor Nolan (also known as Ellen and Lydia and Lydia E.). Henry and Eleanor's children that I have found so far, are William; Ida May; David Anderson ( or Anderson David); and Minnie E. (or C.). I am resrearching this family for my friend, who's great-great-grandfather was David Anderson. David moved from Fountain Co., IN. to Jasper Co., Il. between 1880-1910. David Anderson's wife was Dorothy. They had the following children: Stella, Homer, Alton D., and possibly Paul and Metta (these two may have been grandchildren). It is Alton D. Elmore's great-grandson I am researching this family for. Alton was married to someone named Byrdean. If anyone can help me with this, I would really appreciate it. The bad part is, I live in Jasper Co., IL., and I am really stuck !
