Elizabeth Elmore b.1760 in VA married William Proffitt b. 7-8-1759 they were married 1-10-1783 also in Wilkes NC. Elizabeth father was Thomas Elmore and her mom was Rhoda Thornton. Her grandfather was John Elmore and grandmom was Ann Reynolds. I will send you the family tree if you want it. In 1850 Elizabeth filed for Williams Revolutionary war pension. Their daughter Rebecca married Macalphin Walsh on 5-30-1829, then she had a daughter that married Asa Henderson Hamby. This is a very interesting an unique story. Melody
