John was born in 1753- Lunenburg Co., VA. John's parents were John Elmore & Mary ? John was born 1/22/1724 - New Kent Co., VA. This John's father was Peter Elmore II - wife unknown. He was baptized 6/9/1700 - New Kent Co., VA (into the Quaker Church). Peter's father, Peter I was married to Rebecca ? born possibly in York Co, VA before 1698. Peter I died 3/26/1730. His father was Thomas. He married Rebecca Austin. They came to America from Huntingdonshire, England sometime before 1654 to York Co., VA.
