I am looking for information on Wilburn Elmore, who married Jane F. Elmore, daughter of Joel Elmore and Susannah Fielden Elmore on April 21, 1858 in Jefferson Co., TN (New Market). It is belived that they had 4 children; William T. (1859), Florence Nina Belle (Oct. 1860), a son name unknown (1863), and a daughter name unknown (1864). This daughter may have married R. A. Ensminger.
Jane died on May 21, 1864 and Wilburn may have remarried to Eliza J. Shaggs in Knox Co., TN on August 24, 1865.
The only other record I have found on Wilburn is in the1850 census of of Choctaw Co., MS there is a Wilburn Elmore, born in TN listed as a 24 year old carpenter living with the John R. Armstead family of the Western District of Choctaw Co.
Any help would be most appreciated
