My Elmore's come from Cumberland, Clinton & Russell Counties, in Kentucky. Maybe they're all connected somehow. My great grandfather was Joseph Elmore, md to Mary Appleby. Their son, Ambrose Bramblett Elmore was my maternal grandfather. He was born in Russell County, KY 15 Mar 1864 and fathered my mother when he was 71! He had 9 other siblings. This is a very prolific family and I've got a lot of loose ends I'm trying to tie up. My mother is Mary Elizabeth Elmore Bowlin, born 7 Feb 1935, married to Buford Arlin Bowlin 24 Dec 1955. If you know of information on the siblings of Ambrose, I would appreciate it. His brothers and sisters are: 1. Louise J. (md. Jim Mills) 2. Margaret Ellen Elmore (md. John Ruben Antle) 3. Mary E.
