Looking for info on parents and sibs of Peter ELMORE, b. 1801; married Nancy HAGAN in Rockingham County, NC on Oct 1, 1822. Peter and Nancy moved from NC to TN after 1827, and had at least five sons: John, b. 1823; Peter, b. 1826; William, b. 1827; James, b. 1835; and Michael, b 1839. Some of the sons moved their families to Jefferson County, Iowa, in the 1880s. Does anyone know this branch of the Elmore family?
