Berry Ellzey of Copiah co MS

If Berry Ellzey died August 1840, who is the Berry Ellzey on the 1841 and 1845 Mississippi state censuses? Ancestry only shows extractions, not original images.

On 10 FEB 1840 William Elzey of Copiah co MS was granted a land patent for 47.47 acres in Simpson co MS.

The 1840 census of Simpson county lists the following:
William Elzey Sr Male 60-70 [born 1770-1780].
Jesse Elzy Male 30-40 [born 1800-1810].
Both William and Jesse are on the 1837 state census for Simpson county.

Who is the William Elzey Sr. in Simpson county? Is he related to Berry Ellzey? Is Jesse his son? Is there a William Ellzey Jr.?
