I have been working on a genealogy of descendants of John Edison and am familiar with Mary Edison who married John Ellsworth in Elgin Co., ON. Many of their descendants remained in that area while others, like my ancestor, Moses Edison, a brother of Mary, moved to Grand Rapids, MI. My great grandmother Hannah Edison, married Capt. John McIntyre and moved to Whitewater, W in 1845. My grandmother, Louise McIntyre, was born in Whitewater, Walworth Co., WI.

I have visited Elgin Co. a number of times as I live in Perrysburg, OH and have visited the graves of John and Mary Edison Ellsworth. I have records of their children in Elgin Co.
