Hi Kent,
Thanks for the reply. I have been offline for some time, but just emailed
one Denise from the genforum ellsworth. She has a post on it regarding the
list of children you sent forth frm 04 Dec 1786 in Halfmoon NY...
She wants to know who the sibling listed called Phoebe married...
sounds like she is a relative of this Phoebe's husband,,,she names a man,
hoping that someone has the name of said husband...
I replied to her, and commented that I hope you had that Phoebe as a
different person from the wife of Ephraim D Ellsworth...who was also
named Phoebe. I would imagine so, that you are correct, but just thought
it was worth a question to you...thought I would throw it out there...
If what you say about her identity is true, then Ephraim D had a wife called Phoebe (Denton) and a sister with the same name. Certainly, this is not impossible.
My grandma was a 4th cousin of Col. Elmer Ellsworth...
Let me know what you think on the Phoebe question...thanks.
Oh yes, and I thought I would also ask if you had any more detail on the
people on that list...and please remind me (when you can) what source you used to access your list...Time has passed and I cannot recall anymore.
Thanks...Patty Tinsley
