Hi Norma, In "Settlers of the Beekman Patent," Vol IV, p. 790, It says: George Elsworth (John, Theophilus), ....... Joris and Mary _____ had Rebecca b. 6 Jun 1727 (I believe you had 1627), bp 30 Jun 1728 with Sp. Benjamin Elsworth and Femmetje. The baptism was "in the barn of old Mynder at Qvassayk." (Newburgh), (NYL. RECORD 1966:166) Rebecca probably married William Palmatier and they had son Joseph bp. 21 Jun `1747 at Peter Lossing's with Sp. Joseph Elsworth and JHannetje, wife of Samule Elsworth.
