Hello Norma

I've found you by a different route this time! Can I correct the first paragraph of the Elsworth Line please. Stoffel Elsworth was born in 1625 in Bristol, (Source: Marriage Entry.) The connection with David Elsworth, Sir John Ellsworth and Lucia Bower is spurious, and a figment of someone's vivid imagination, and entirely unsupported by any evidence whatever. I have not managed, in over 10 years of research, to find Stoffel's baptism. If he was a dissenter, which is quite likely, then I probably never will, because it isn't recorded. Elestown, Eletown etc, are also spurious. If you could alter that it would be a great help.

Thanks for your input on the other connection. I have been investigating Elsworths again after a long break, which is how I come to be here!

Take care

John
