I do appreciate your comments, (& Mr. McCarthys) which I believe I have read previously. Much good research work there. And I agree that German Ellsworth had many errors in his work. To this end, a gentleman (now deceased) by the name of Radford Curdy, in the late 1990s, basically retraced the work that German Ellsworth had done and came up with many corrections to German's work. The primary problem that he found German had done, was confuse the Connecticut and NY Ellsworths and mix up some of the names of similar persons. A copy of Mr. Curdys research notes were passed to me a few years ago, and I have incorporated that information into what I believe is information about Theophilus, his family and descendants as close I could get it. I will pass my rootsweb link for my Ellsworth ancestry to you via e-mail and certainly would not mind your comments. (I know you have discounted the ancestry of Theophilus which does appear in my Rootsweb file.) Alton Ellsworth Rogers Notify Administrator about this message?
