Through census records and other I found widow Rebecca in Greenville, Montcalm Co., MI and 2 of his brother and a name for their parents.
William Clement Ellsworth and Bethania Johnson were the parents of probably more children. William may have also married a Clarissa M Lee.
Can anyone place William Clement Ellsworth. With a middle name of Clement he probably comes from the New York Elsworth clan.
1Dr. William H Ellsworth born 1815 who married Rebecca Whitney. They had a daughter Gertrude E Ellsworth who married Charles F Morgan.
2 another son was Charles Clinton Ellsworth born Jan 29 1829 West Berkshire, Franklin Co., VT died June 25 1899 married Elizabeth Gay in 1850 0r 1860. Charles was a Major and a lawyer and lived in Greenville, MI.
3 another brother was George C Ellsworth born abt 1830 VT and was a laywer. He was living with his brother Charles and family in Greenville, MI in 1880 census.
