Buried there is probably his mother Sarah Elsworth died 1842 age 76. This Sarah is probably the mother of Platt Elsworth. I found a Sarah Platt born abt 1766 Amenia, Dutchess Co., NY daughter of either Eliphalet Platt and Elizabeth Scudder or Isreal Platt and Abigail Scudder. Eliphalet and Israel were siblings as were Elizabeth and Abigail.
So now looking for an Elsworth male born abt 1766 who could have married Sarah Platt and had a son Platt Elsworth. I believe Platt also had a daughter Marilla Elsworth who married John Spaulding.
