Hello,
Not sure how much help I can be to you. The info I have is not my research. If you read the post I made that is about all I have. You try to contact him.

The info I have on the Ellisor name is the research of Virgil Williams(found on the net)and other info found on the net.

Reading the Leonardo Andrea file on the Dubard. I see he found a record of a land sale. The land was a lot on King St. in Charleston,SC., left to members of the DuBard family by Catherine DuBard Fashbender in her will dated June 8,1808.
The land sale was dated Jan. 10,1837/39 (not sure)and all the people that will split the money from the sale are listed. It has Mary wife of Cheney Elliser(that is the way he spelled it)listed. This is all I found on the Ellisor name in these papers I have. It may be of some help. I do have a son listed for them as Phillip Thomas Ellisor b. 1826
(who married a Laura Elizabeth Ann DuBard, and Phillip Ellisor died 1899 in Harris Co.,Tx.

This info was found on Family Tree Maker web site under
"Ancestores of Robert Daniel Freeman"
Jacob Ellyesar Sr. born 1752 died about 1789. He was the son of Johannes Stephen Eleazar and Barbara Swigart. He married Mary Magdalen Eyyhsteen.
Children;
Eberhart Ellisor b.between 1760-1770
Jacob Ellisor Jr., b. 1769 d.1810 m. Elizabeth Thomas
Mary Ellisor b.about 1775 m. Micahel Bouknight
John Ellisor b. between 1770-1780 d. 1847 m. Susannah
Fredrick Ellisor b. Bet 1775-1784
Gasper Ellisor b. Bet 1780-1790 m. Elizabeth Gartman
George Ellisor b. 1783 m. Pricilla Nates
Now I have ties to the Stingley family of Sc then moved to Ms.(Lutheran Church)
and they also are related to the Dubards by marriage. Most of these families were of German or Swiss descendt so the spellings do change as they were translated into English.
Not sure any of this will be of help.
Wanda
