Hi Barbara: Check the 1850 census of Cherokee county Alabama, District 26. I am descended from Watson Ellison (1742) through his son Robert (1783) through his son Alexander Parks Ellison (1816) and through his daughter Amanda (1859). Jonathon and Alexander Parks Ellison were brothers, both sons of Robert Ellison. F. M. Ellison I have as a son of the Watson Ellison (1808) who was also a son of the above Robert Ellison. Ira Prince
