Mark Ellison b. ca. Dec 1807 in Barrington, d. 16 Apr 1807 in Bangor, Penobscot, Maine, and is bur. There in Mt. Hope Cemetery. His death record gives his father’s name as Mark and does not identify his mother. His birth place is as identified on his death record as Barrington and his age is calculated from his age at death. There were two Ellison families on the 1810 U.S. Census for Barrington: Abraham Ellison 51010 01121 and John Ellison 12010 11110, both families having at least one person under 10 in the household. In the 1800 U.S. Census for Barrington there was Abraham Ellison 10101 12411, so it probably included the family of John in that year. So far, I have been unable to find the details of this family, but it would appear to be the family which included Mark.
Mark Ellison m. Jane Carlisle, d/o John Carlisle and Elizabeth Ann Cushing, ca. 1832 (no record found). Jane b. Aug 1814 in New Brunswick, Canada (no record found) and d. 25 Oct 1895 in Bangor and is bur. With her husband. They had 7 children: William, George H., Martha W. (my great-grandmother), Charles H., Addie (Adeline) G., Clara and Grace G. Family details can be found on http://www.somesfamily.tribalpages.com.
