I don't think they had a son named John and Luther. They had children by the name of Abraham/Abram, Ethel, Jean and Maude. I will look into your information though to see if there are any connections.

Also John Ellison's wife's name was not Ella Angus it was Ella Aumock (my mistake). The two of them were married in 1885 in North Platte, NB. Also I discovered that John's parent's names were George Ellison and Lavinia (or Levenia)Weller and they were from New York. George Ellison was possibly born in 1858 in New York and his father's name was Elias Ellison and was born abt. 1805 in New York.

I am still not sure where the native american connection comes in or if there is one.

Any added information on this line would be of great help. It seems there are a lot of Ellisons out there
