mtDNA results for Ellison, McCurry, Bruner Maternal lines

I'm looking for info on the mother of Polly McCurry b. 1814 in Greene Co. TN. Polly married Samuel Newton Bruner and had a daughter Margaret Bruner ( my maternal ggg grandmother). I've seen on other genealogical sites that Polly McCurry's mother was Rebecca Tarrant, and her mother was Osillar Ellison. The only documented proof I have though is the link to Margret Bruner. She married Rufus King Watkins in Tennessee, and I have a copy of his will.

I would like to trace the maternal line of Bruner/McCurry/Tarrant/Ellison. My mtDNA is H haplogroup. Although I had only the low resolution test done, and I'm no expert on DNA, my mutations matched up with people in the H6 haplogroup. H6 originated in the Middle East and Central Asia and occurs at low frequencies in Europe. You can view this on mitosearch.com My ID number is 3XD8W. I'm planning to have my HVR2 done soon, so hopefully it will narrow down the matches.
