I have already this evening returned to their site and left a new message.
A death bronze is as you imagine, and you should be able to find one in your local antiques shop, or look in your local paper as they are very much in demand just now by collectors and possibly scrap metal merchants. I have seen at least one advert recently. It is 4.75 inches across, has a releif of Brittania, a lion, and two small fish on it, plus a panel with the soldiers name on it. Every family of a dead soldier, received one, so they are quite numerous.
If you could recover the name of the other person researching Ellis, it could prove useful.
Thanks for the replies.
