I would love to hear from you if you have any information on this man. He was my great-greatgrandfather.
Charles Joseph Ellis born June, 1843 in England (according to family lore, within 100 miles of Brumbo, Wales)
Emigrated to the US before 1868...... probably settled Kentucky.
Married Frances A. Blagrave Jan. 23, 1868 in Kentucky.
Moved to Chicago, Illinois before 1874.
Two sons: Robert A. and Charles E. born 1874 and 1877 in Chicago.
We are planning a trip to the UK this summer, so I would love to have another place to visit on our itinerary!
