I descendfrom the Samuel Elliott Line.Samuel came to America in 1771 with two brothers. He had a son named Cornelious in Ohio.Cornelious had a son John who moved to Illinois.John had a son Cornelious Absolam sho took his family to Iowa.Fremont Co., Iowa in the southwest corner near Nebraska. The county seat is Sidney and many members of my family lived and are buried there.I have the county cemetary book. I would be surprised that the divergent families kept in touch but I heard that a son of Samuel's returned to Ireland and died there. It was supposed to be Cornelious but his gravestove was replaced by two of my cousins.Samuel was born 1751 and his brothers names were James and Robert. The had enought offspring to "...number as the stars in the sky or grains of sand on the beach..."
